Herefordshire continued their fine form in the ICC by securing a convincing victory away at Gloucester, completing the double against their neighbours for the first time in many years. Amongst many strong Herefordshire performances, the triple of Rob George, Dave Watkins and Ian Roe stood out with an incredible 34-5 victory in the triples.
The morning session kicked off with victory on all four mats in the singles and pairs. The triples and fours followed this up by taking 5 of the 8 points on offer, putting Herefordshire firmly in control ahead of the afternoon. Session three saw a win and a loss in the singles, with Nic Lloyd and Dean Rudman getting a 3 on their final end to win 14-11 and join the other pairing of Becci & Dawn Cox in winning both their games. The fourth and final session saw much of the same, with both triples achieving victory and the points being shared in the fours. Each discipline secured their bonus points following some convincing victories over the course of the day meaning that Hereford won 33 – 7 and 249-171 on shots putting them in good stead for the visit of Cheshire in two weeks time.
