Becci Cox has decided to step down as Competition Secretary at this year’s AGM. Following two years in the role, Cox has overseen significant changes to HSMBA competitions resulting in increased entry across the board.
The HSMBA is therefore looking for someone to pick up the Competitions baton. The job description can be found under the resources section of the HSMBA website although Becci has carried out significant work to ensure the incoming Comp Sec has a much more organised process with less paperwork!
The HSMBA committee has made clear that should no one come forward, minimal competitions will be held this coming season and the issue will not solve itself. The committee is made up of volunteers who are not able to cover the competitions role in addition to their own duties. Anyone interested should contact Becci (hsmbapremcaptain@gmail.com) to discuss the role and would be fully supported not just by her but by the whole committee as they settle in. Nominations will be taken from the floor of the AGM.
