The 2023-24 competition was held on Saturday 21st October 2023 at Ross Bowling Club. An increased entry on the previous year saw ten teams from six clubs battle it out in two groups of five, with the winners and runners up going through to the Semi-Finals.

The first Semi-Final put the convincing winners of Group One, the Ross rink of Linda Lewis, Rob George, Peter Wright and Ian Roe, against the runners up of Group Two, Fownhope’s Carole Rowland, Geoff Kalkwarf, Nic Cooper and Peter Lewis. Following a fantastic start, Ross proved too strong for their opponents, taking a 16-5 victory to reach the final with their 100% winning record intact. The second Semi-Final saw Group Two winners Sophie Heather-Warner, Chris Rudderham, Dean Rudman and Joe Loveys of Gorsley face Lea’s John & Sheila Clapson, Steve Kite and Merion Attwood. After trading ones for the first three ends, the fourth end proved crucial with Lea taking a 5 to go into the ascendancy, booking their place in the final with a 9-4 win.

The final proved no different to the rest of the day for Ross, as Roe’s rink worked their way to a convincing 15-5 victory and the first Ross County Fours title since 2016.
