The Premier Team travelled to Bromsgrove IBC on 3rd December 2022 to take on Worcestershire, achieving a fantastic victory to keep them in the hunt for a top two group position.
Following their convincing home victory in November, Herefordshire were keen for a repeat result at the mat on mat Worcestershire venue and that is exactly what they were able to do. As with the home match, the morning session proved to be Herefordshire’s strongest as they won in all 8 games to go into the lunch break with an incredible +113 shots difference, the largest contributor being John Mills’ four who won their game 28-2.
The afternoon session saw Worcestershire make a strong recovery, gaining victories in the singles, triples and a draw in the fours to put 5 points on the board. However, these were not enough for them to overcome the large shots advantages gained following the dominant Herefordshire morning performance, giving the Bulls a 35-5 win and securing the double over Worcestershire. Captain Becci Cox thanked Worcestershire for the game and Bromsgrove IBC for hosting; praising the spirit in which it was played.
