Entries for our Annual Macmillan fundraising tournament are now open! This year’s event will be held on Sunday 29th November at Leominster IBC (Bridge Street Sports Centre, Bridge Street, Leominster, HR6 8EA).
Last year, was the tournament’s 31st year as we took the total amount raised to just under £40,000 with this year’s total hoping to take us beyond that!
The Macmillan is an annual competition, open to teams across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and far beyond, held to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. In an open draw format each team of 4 players plays 4 games across the day and the overall winner is decided by points and shot difference. Away from the competition itself, a plethora of fundraising activities are available including a target bowls competition, tea/coffee and a wide range of homemade cakes sold throughout the day as well as the main event of the day- the raffle- which sees well over 50 prizes donated including whiskey and hamper raffles.
The closing date for entries is 8th November.
