Ross’ Linda Lewis has been named the Herefordshire County Team Player of the Year at the squad’s annual social evening.
The award, introduced last year by Captain Becci Cox, recognises not just the nominated player’s contributions on the mat but also their wider contribution to the squad as a whole. During her award speech, Captain Cox recognised Linda’s incredible team spirit, always offering support to her team mates whilst contributing to the lively and jovial atmosphere of the team. Nicknamed “The Bunny”, Linda continues to be a reliable and consistent front end player for the squad, optitomising all of the key attributes required from a county bowler.
The Association sends its congratulations to Linda and also extends its thanks to all those who have put on the County shirt this year! A reminder that County Trials forms are with Club Secretaries and will take place on Saturday 29th March at Leominster with trialists able to choose from either a morning or afternoon session.
