Guy Fawkes step aside, 5th November has a newer and greater significance as the day that The Bulls played their first game at their new home of Leominster IBC against Wiltshire. Having beaten their opponents at Corsham in October, Herefordshire were keen to do the double and open their account at Leominster with a win.
The Bulls hit the ground running, winning the first session 6-2, with split points in the second session (including an incredible 30-4 victory for Captain Becci Cox’s rink) leaving the scores at 10-6 to Herefordshire at the halfway stage. A strong third session, including taking the bonus points from both the Singles and Pairs, put Herefordshire on the brink of victory with eighteen points as the Triples and Fours finished the day well to leave the final score at 28-12 (234-163).
