The Herefordshire County Team have soared through to the Quarter-Finals of the ICC Premier 2 Division following one of their best group stage performances in recent memory, recording five wins and just one loss.
Highlights from the group stages include doing the double over both Worcester and Gloucester and defeating their rivals for top of the group Cheshire, 21-19 in the final game of the group. Whilst this was not enough to secure first place, Herefordshire took second by the huge margin of 61 points over Gloucester and booked their place in the “main” knockout round.
The County Team have been drawn against Surrey in their Quarter-Final which will be played on 12th February at Bristol IBC. All at the HSMBA wish the team the very best of luck and look forward to hearing how they get on!
