Herefordshire bounced back from last weekend’s gutting defeat to Wiltshire with a 26-14 victory over Gloucestershire at Leominster on Sunday.
Captain Cox made several changes from the previous week both in terms of personnel and structure as The Bulls looked to get back to winning ways. A slow start from Herefordshire’s singles and pairs gave way to strong performance by the triples and fours to put the score level at the halfway stage. A second half push from the singles and pairs kept the scores level at 14-14 before a clean sweep in the final session gave Herefordshire their first win of the season, 26-14 (216-160).
