Battles Galore as Leagues Reach Halfway Stage

A fascinating first half of the league season has seen the fight for Division One increase in participants once again from last year with many teams taking points off one another. Ross Wolves lead the way on 42 points, 5 points ahead of Gorsley Chapel Oaks in second. From there only 7 points separates them and Weston Wizards in fifth. Meanwhile a strong second half of the season is needed for newly promoted Fownhope as they sit 20 points off safety.

Division Two sees Woolhope Wasps continue their march up the divisions as they look to secure their second promotion in as many years having dropped just two points across their five games. St Martins Hawks sit in second place having played one more game than Ross Badgers, 8 points behind in third. Ross Alligators prop the table up on 8 points but with two games in hand on sixth placed Golden Valley who sit 14 points above.

The battle for the Division Three title appears to have two main contenders with Ross Hedgehogs sitting two points in front of Gorsley Chapel on 45 and 43 points respectively. Ledbury Swallows sit in third, 10 points behind but with a game in hand and cannot be counted out of a second half charge into the promotion places.

Thanks as always go to all of the players taking part in what is building up to be another fascinating league season across the divisions as well as League Secretary Ian Roe for his hard work in making it all run like clockwork!
